So this morning,when I opened my inbox,I got this e-mail from Zillow. It read:

I almost did the happy dance. Well I wanted to,but I didn't-LOL. My advice to you,if you are not a great dancer,only dance when the only person who can see you is God-LOL. Anyway,zillow is one of the top ten real estate websites around Zillow.com(R) and 180 Newspapers Launching Co-Branded Real Estate ....

It is free to become a member of www.zillow.com. But how do you become a Zillow All-Star? Well according to David Gibbons, Zillow Director, Community Relations in a blog he wrote July 12,2008,he stated:

Well, we'll be tweaking the formula as we go but simply, All-Stars are the most active users on Zillow. They are the folks posting the most discussions, photos, listings, loan quotes, etc. New badges are awarded daily and to retain Zillow All-Stars status, you will need to remain active on Zillow. So once you get your All Star Badge,you definitely need to remain active.

I haven't gotten any closings yet from any DC and/or MD home buyers and sellers on Zillow. But hopefully as I continue to contribute to this site and possibly purchase some zip codes soon,I will start to reap the fruits of the seeds that I have planted and STILL PLANTING on Zillow.

Washington DC Real Estate Market Report for July 2009. Good news to report for potential DC home buyers and sellers-Home sales are up. Total sold dollar volume of Washington DC homes in July 2009 was $313,292,875 compared to $293,540,305 in July 2008.

Total amount of Washington DC Houses for sale that actually sold in July 2009 were 648 houses compared to 506 houses in July 2008. That is a 28.06% DC home sales increase. With low interest rates,lower home prices and with less than 100 days left to get the $8000 first time home buyer tax credit for DC and MD Home buyers, this is a great time to buy a house for sale in DC.

Welcome to the bottom of the housing market. I didn't say this -Experts did. But have we really reached the bottom of the housing market? Well U.S June existing home sales up 3rd straight month - MarketWatch. Last time I believed this happened was in 2005. And most of us who were real estate professionals in 2005 knew what the real estate market was back then. I think that we have reached the bottom of the housing market in some areas but not every real estate market has fully recovered.  

But is this good news for home buyers in DC or Prince George's County MD? Is this good news for home owners in DC and Prince George's County Maryland? DC and Prince George's County MD Sellers? Or is this bad news for home buyers and/or sellers? I think this is great news for both buyers and sellers. I hear a lot from home buyers who are looking to buy a house in DC or Prince George's County Maryland how they are not ready to buy a house yet because they still are waiting for prices of houses for sale to drop.

Maybe with three straight months of housing market sales increase and the housing market finally bottomed out in some areas,this would bring out more home buyers in DC and Prince George's County Maryland. Also home owners who are not sure whether to put their DC or P.G County Maryland house on the market will finally do so now. While we are not out of a recession yet,we are recovering Barack Obama - US Economy Is Recovering. So people who are looking to buy a house in DC and P.G County MD,this is a great time to buy a house if you want the $8000 first time home buyer tax credit for DC and P.G County Md Home buyers  before 12/1/09.

"A superstar Real Estate Agent plots a comeback". It's funny because I was actually going to write a blog kind of similiar to this-(This Blog coming soon). I was on Yahoo earlier today when I ran across this article online title "A superstar Real Estate Agent plots a comeback". I was inspired by this story of the Rise and Fall of this Real Estate Agent who is planning on making another comeback-AGAIN.

This Real Estate Agent has sold houses to many celebrities which allowed this real estate agent to accumulate wealth to afford this real estate agent to live a lavish lifestyle. His fall was caused by him living life beyond his means. 

But I like the fact that even this real estate agent is not letting their past failure keep them from planning another comeback. Determination to win,Driven,Inspiration,Hunger and Honesty are some of things that I got from reading this story. But did this superstar real estate agent learn from his mistakes?
