Happy Friday again everyone. Wrote a blog earlier please check it out when you can DC Area local events. Not going to say much. But I will say that that the idea of doing a Free DC Area Local Events came from this state of this sluggish economy which has prompted many people to scale back on their spending habits and live the lifestyle that they are not use to living. When you don't have no money,it aint funny-I wasn't trying to rhyme there by the way,I am just being honest.

FRIDAY
Howard University Yardfest -Music event. This is a free concert that is going to be all day. This event is an annual highlight of Howard Homecoming weekend. Scheduled performers this year include Rick Ross,Waka Flacka Flame,9th Wonder and Raheem Davaughn.

Freek-O-Ween: Hot 99.5 DJ's provide dance music and $5,000 costume contest. I could use $5,000 right about now. Maybe I need to go to this event. Anyway it is going to be at the District Lounge and Grille on 2473 18th St NW Washington DC from 10pm-3am. Call 202-588-0385 for more information.
Renee Stout will be the Hemphill Fine Arts on 1515 14th St NW Washington DC. Some people say that if you saw and Liked Christopher Nolan's Blockbuster Movie "Inception" which he stole the idea from me-LOL. Anyway if you loved the movie then you will probably like Renee Stout. Word is that there are parallels between the themes of her suggestive and richly satisfying show and those of director Christopher Nolan's cinematic blockbuster.
