DC Petworth Real Estate Market Report (Zip code 20011)-March 2009. Average sold price of a DC Petworth house was $314,170 compared to $390,354 in March 2008-a 19.52% drop. But DC Petworth houses almost saw double housing activity compared to March 2008. 46 houses in DC Petworth sold this month compared to 25 in March 2008- a 84% increase. At least I got somebody today who responded by saying that she wants to buy this year. Hopefully if I help her buy a house,I can get all of her ready,willing and able family members and friends who are home buyers to buy a house this year.
