Washington DC Real Estate Market Report for July 2009. Good news to report for potential DC home buyers and sellers-Home sales are up. Total sold dollar volume of Washington DC homes in July 2009 was $313,292,875 compared to $293,540,305 in July 2008.
Total amount of Washington DC Houses for sale that actually sold in July 2009 were 648 houses compared to 506 houses in July 2008. That is a 28.06% DC home sales increase. With low interest rates,lower home prices and with less than 100 days left to get the $8000 first time home buyer tax credit for DC and MD Home buyers, this is a great time to buy a house for sale in DC.
