What is my House worth?

I think a better idea, today, would be to offer this to a buyer...not to a realtor, at all.    Consumer driven biz model, now.

Sea to Sky Premier Properties (Salt Spring)-Exactly. Or instead of listing the house for sale at $250,000,list it at $247,250. I have a client who is looking to purchase a house in Fort Washington MD for $250,000 and this was one of the listings. I want to send this one to them but I couldn't because of the $2,500 bonus ad that the listing agent displayed on the picture. Thank you for your comments.

Lanre,

They might rightly question the value of your advice and your fiduciary!

I find buyer agent bonus offers embarrassing.  They make us look bad (or at least suspect) in the eyes of our buyer clients.

Lanre,

" " Ditto

Best advice: get the seller to reduce the price.

Lanre, I agree with the consumer driven business model.  I also think that you were right in not sending them this particular listing.

I hate when I see bonuses to agents. We are already getting paid

Lanre,

I hate showing listings with agent bonus attached. If my buyers write an offer I know I'm going to include an addendum giving it to them.

Lanre

It's a great bonus, but it don't believe it  will close with a Federally backed mortgages.

Good luck and success.
