Things to do in Washington DC: Domain names GONE WILD on Active Rain!

Domain names GONE WILD on Active Rain!

Domain names GONE WILD on Active Rain!

Okay! Okay! Keep your shirts on Ladies and Gentlemen. I am not talking about that Kind of Gone Wild. You know like that popular DVD Series. (Not that I know anything about it. Matter of fact somebody just told me about it today for the first time-LMAO!). Anyway last week edition of Active Rain, one guy wrote a blog that caused a frenzy

My name is Richard and I am a domain name addict…

and made three more real estate professionals to follow suit and Go Buck Wild with him.

What are the benefits of owning so many domain names"-Renee Burrows

Success in 72 hours...It works!

And C.Tann Starr wrote a blog the beginning of this year about her 35 million websites in her blog that she wrote the beginning of this year called

uberMental.com

So why all of a sudden out of no where,Domain names have suddenly gone Wild here on Active Rain? I don't know but I feel like going wild with them. Reading Renee Burrows blog alone I feel has given me a very good reason to go out on a domain spending spree myself. But you are looking to come up with some domain names to target certain cities, neighborhoods and/or subdivisions, you should definitely read Renee blog.

But I hope that when I decide to go on a Domain name shopping spree,I don't lose all of my money and become a addict in the process. Some addicts you can break, some you can't.

Domain names GONE WILD on Active Rain.

I'm with Lisa!  This goes way over my head.  Thank goodness - that's one less addiction to worry about.  Thanks for sharing.  This reminds me of a post I saw last week about someone being addicted to her "crack"berry.  Too funny.  I'm  happy to report I'm not there yet either.

I admit...I'm an addict as well, lol.  Everytime i think of a new one I run to godaddy and buy it.  My husband is ready to choke me!  Thanks for the wrap up on why this does benefit us :)  Have a great week my friend!

Lanre,

You do a great job of pulling topical information together here on Active Rain. It's very helpful.

I've been exploring domain names recently. Perhaps it's something in the ActiveRain water we've been drinking. :  )

Thanks again.

Lanre,
Great info, still I need to digest it a little bit, so we create a domain name and we point to a certain part of a website and from AR we can redirect it?  please explain, :) take care my friend!

Thanks for sharing.... I did have a few Domain names but I thought it was too much so I got rid of them. After reading this I have to revisit that thought. ActiveRain in the place to be INFORMED.
