I am sure many of you know about this. But this for people who don't know about this story. I just found out about this story myself today. A Real Estate broker who brokered deals with celebrities included Billy Joel,Sting and Steven Spielberg was found dead in a pool of blood around her head in her Fifth Avenue penthouse by one of her two daughters by a month ago. Although they say the death appeared to be an accident,they said that they are treating her death as a homicide. She was killed by blunt force trauma to the back of the head and neck. Why would someone do such a cruel thing to somebody who everybody said was a nice person. People said that they liked her because she was bright and sophisticated. "She had a huge personality, huge," said Prudential broker Lori Barabari, who knew Stein for about six years. "She had an edge that let her be comfortable with Hollywood people, financial people, all genres of people." A book was even written about her called "The Sky's the Limit: Passion and Property in Manhattan by Steven Gaines.
How can someone who people said had no enemies by a victim of such a horrific death. She started off as a teacher,met a Seymour stein,co-founder of sire records who she later married in the 1970's. They company helped launch the careers of some artists as Madonna,The Ramones and Talking Heads. After the divorce,they said she continued to managed the Ramones and she turned her connections in the industry into clients. During the 80's,they said that she was profiled in magazines,and her pithy quotes popped up frequently in celebrity gossip columns. And despite breast cancer twice,she didn't let it slow her today. She said that she was tough as a nail. Stein's current listings include a $26 million property in Montauk and a $9 million estate in Siena, Italy. It is so sad to see something bad happen to someone who seemed so nice,especially someone in our business. For whatever reason,it doesn't make any sense. I hope whoever did this suffers tremendously.-Now two woman are now without their mother. Life. You never know what to expect in life. That's why we should cherish every single day that we spent here on earth. Because you never know when it is going to be your time to go. R.I.P Linda Stein.

Someone posted some other interesting information about her a week or so ago. Maybe if you search Linda Stein you can get more information. I think she said in her blog that she also had Donald Trumps home listed as well. Apparently, they suspect her assistant... It's sad for sure. Cherish is the word!

Hi Karen. Yup its me,one of your exit buddies. I didn't know that she was the same woman that had Donald Trump house listed. I thought the name of the listing agent for Donald's Trump house was Dolly Lenz. They suspect her assistant did it. That would be very,very sad. Thanks for commenting.

Yes, I think they did say her Assistant did it, I believe I saw this on the news. It is so sad. Apparently the assistant did not like the way Linda was treating her. Thank you for sharing!
