So what are you supposed to do when it light bulbs burn out? You should properly recycle them in your home. But only a handful of counties in the country recycles them. Also,ACE and other hardware stores are encouraging franchise owners to create in store recycling centers for these light bulbs.

Fluorescent tubes have always been a disposal problem.  The new LED lights are probably much safer and less hazardous to dispose of.

Lanre, what should you do with them then???  You can't eat this or that, and now the light bulb's can hurt as well.

Lanre, thanks for the tip!  I thought you just weren't supposed to eat them.  Another thing about the new bulbs - they are totally unflattering!  But that's not as important as saving energy!

Ray-What is this world coming to? It seems everyday you can't do this or that. I just don't get it anymore. Thanks for your comments.

Tom -Neither did I tom. You are very welcome.

Patricia -You are the first person to hear say that the new bulbs are totally unflattering. Thanks for your comments.

Lanre: I just read about recycling light bulbs earlier. i don't remember knowing this before. But now I do, I will recycle properly. But there should be easily located public bins so people will know.
