So... how many homicides were there in DC for June?
Cameron- Behave Cameron. I am not even going to touch that one. It is scary though. Thanks for your comments.
Congratulations on your first Market report! Great job, Lanre! These types of posts produce more lead inquiries and real business for me than anything else I do on ActiveRain because consumers want to know what's happening in their market.
Cameron, I think your comment is very inappropriate and does not contribute in any way to the dialogue Lanre is trying to have with home buyers and sellers in his market! I don't know where you are located, but clearly you don't know about the wonderful neighborhoods and communities within those D.C. boundaries. Unfortunately, they don't make the news, but you'll find multi-million dollar homes there as well as troubled neighborhoods and homes for "regular" people - people who work for the government, government contractors and local businesses that serve the area.
You'll also find churches and social organizations, scout troops... garden clubs... organized kids activities... nice restaurants - just like any other big city. Oh, yes - don't forget the world-class higher education institutions and their communities - Georgetown University, The Catholic University of America, George Washington, American... Cameron's comment insults everyone who lives and works in D.C, and certainly doesn't represent the real estate industry or ActiveRain very well at all.
This is a great market report! Any buyer or seller would be smart to work with someone who has a strong grasp on the market such as yourself.
Christina
Margaret- Thank you! Thank you! Thank you very, very much Margaret. I really appreciate your nice comments. I tried my best not to respond in a bad way. And with the great and nice comments you made,I am glad that I didn't. Great people like you Margaret are one of the many reasons why I love Active Rain so much. Now that I have gotten a good response from one of the best here on Active Rain,I am going to start writing more on Market Reports on here from now on. Thanks again Margaret.
Christina-Thank you Christina. I really appreciate your nice comments.
Lanre - 'Guess I did go off on a rant, but that first comment was so uncalled for. Your market report IS the focus here, and you're providing information that consumers are looking for. (Perhaps my defensiveness for D.C. is rooted in the fact that I grew up there, as did both my parents. AND I graduated from one of those world-class universities.)
Go get 'em, Lanre!
Margaret- I will. Thanks again for everything and as usual always being such a very helpful person.
Lanre - Thanks for sharing! That great info to know.
Once again Lanre thanks for sharing such detailed statistics! It really gives you a snapshot of what a market is really doing.
