Hello world! Its friday. That day of the week that just about everyone looks forward to. Why? Because of the weekend. And of course you get another Washington DC Weekend Guide Blog from yours truly. So do you know what are you going to do this weekend? Me,I am probably going to get some sleep because I need it-very bad.

FRIDAY
12th Annual Grits & Gravy Howard University Home coming "Old School" Reunion. Its a free homecoming party that will include music such as hip-hop,70's,R&B and Classic house at the Ibiza. Ibiza is located at 1222 1st Street NE
Howard Homecoming Weekend will be having a homecoming party hosted by Fashion Designer/Music Mogul/Party Thrower himself Diddy. The home coming party will be at Live. Live is located at 1350 Okie St NE Washington DC
Old School Block Party with Sugar Hill Gang will be at the Zanzibar on the Waterfront for the Old School Happy Hour. Zanzibar on the Waterfront is located at 700 Water St SW Washington DC

Savion Glover with the help of Marshall Davis Jr & Maurice Chestnut will be taking tap dancing to a whole new level at the Warner Theatre. Warner Theatre is located at 13th & E St NW Washington DC 202-783-4000.
Jazz drummer Tony Martucci along with his ensemble will be at the Twins Jazz. Twins Jazz is located at 1344 U St NW Washington DC 202-234-0072.
SATURDAY
Come to Capitol Hill's newest restaurant for an afternoon of food and drink at the Art & Soul. Art & Soul is located at 415 New Jersey Ave NW Washington DC 202-393-7777.
Come see and listen to local and youth troupes performing at the Joy of Motion Dance Center's Annual Concert Atlas Performing Arts center at 1333 H St NE Washington DC 202-399-7993.
Members of the National Symphony Orchestra performs classical works at the Millennium Stage-The John F.Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The John F.Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts 2700 F St.NW Washington DC 202-467-4600.
Richard Lewis will be performing stand-up comedy at the George Washington University -Lisner Auditorium. George Washington is located at 730 21st NW Washington DC 202-397-7328.
SUNDAY

Mermaids,Monsters and the World Painted Purple-Playwright Marco Ramirez will be telling five stories inspired by hispanic folklore and culture at the John F.Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
