It is the end of the week once again. It is of course the end of the month. But most importantly,it is time for another Washington DC Weekend Guide by yours truly.

Shear Madness. Funny without ever becoming either witty or clever,its audience participation who did it in which you are encouraged to grill the witness and essentially to write your own ending by voting for a guility party. Anhedonia Exhibit features work by Will Schneider-White on Friday through Sunday. District of Columbia Arts Center is located at 2438 18th St.NW (202) 462-7833.
SATURDAY
Children's Multicultural Book Festival. This festival will feature readings by authors including Nikki Giovanni,music and dance performances. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is located at 2700 F St NW Washington DC (202) 467-4600. This is a free event.
SUNDAY
New York Art Critic Peter Schjeldal holds a conversation and book signing about about criticism at the National Gallery of Art. National Gallery of Art is located at 600 Constitution Ave NW Washington DC. 202-737-4215. This is a free event.
Hercules and Love Affair will be playing Neoclassical disco for the cool people at the 9:30 Club. 9:30 Club is located on 815 V St NW Washington DC 202-265-0930. Price: $15.
