Which Active Rain cities made New York Times list of the 44 places to go in 2009?

Before I say much,I want to say thanks to Colleen Kulikowski Licensed Real Estate Salesperson. If it wasn't for her,I would not have known about this. She wrote a post about Buffalo. Buffalo,New York made New York Times list as one of the 44 places to go in 2009.

Washington DC made the list of 44 places to go in 2009. Of course January 20,2009 which was the President Inauguration brought a lot of people to Washington DC. But why is Washington DC also one of the places to go in 2009? And which Active Rain cities made the list? Click on this list to see the complete list of 44 places to go in 2009.

Hi Lanre - it has been a while since I read what you're doing.  Interesting destinations in that Times article...but they left out Tucson!  Oh well--its only the New York Times.  Hope 2009 is promising for you!

Lanre, we're only four hours from DC but we don't get up that way too often. My daughter recently went to the new Capitol Visitors Center, she said it was beautiful. Lots of interesting places to go on the list. I love the Floriday Keys, especially at this time of year.
